One third of all food produced goes to waste. This uneaten food is responsible for about 8 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions. Please join Village of Takoma Park as we learn innovative ways to reduce food waste and help reverse climate change, and save money to boot. Hear from Lorig Charkoudian, District 20 Maryland State Delegate; Alison Bauer, Field Marketing Manager of Hungry Harvest; Lauren Goldberg, Executive Director of Crossroads Community Food Network and Gina Mathias, Takoma Park Sustainability Manager. Register by May 1. Hosted by the Village of Takoma Park.
