About this event
All Chevy Chase At Home members and volunteers are welcome to join this new book club, which will meet monthly for an hour and read books from a variety of genres. The May book selection is the non-fiction work "Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents" by Isabel Wilkerson, which examines the unspoken caste system that has shaped America and shows how our lives today are still defined by a hierarchy of human divisions.
