About this event
April is the month we celebrate Earth Day and recognize our complicated relationship to our planet. We invite you to spend an hour looking at works of art from the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s collection that let us explore how Americans have engaged with the land in pursuit of power and profit, as well as for purposes of stewardship and conservation. Smithsonian American Art Museum docent Melissa Clark will lead us in thoughtful conversation and close looking with art works from the 1800’s to the present. Hosted by Chevy Chase At Home
