Discussion Groups
Coffee & Conversation (3rd Mondays*) – Latest Buzz
If you are looking for recommendations for good books, movies or TV shows, Coffee and Conversation is a lively discussion group for you. Held on the third Monday* of every month from 11:00 am- 12:00 pm, it is an opportunity to get together virtually and learn about what your neighbors are reading and watching. A list of the books and shows that were discussed, is distributed to the meeting participants after the call. Get your cup of coffee, tea, or whatever beverage you prefer, and join. It’s a great way to start your week.

CC@H Book Club - 4th Thursdays
The Book Club meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 2:30 pm, currently via Zoom. We all read the same book and get together to share our reactions to and thoughts about the book. We make book choices jointly and have read both fiction and nonfiction.
Examples of books we have read: "Sing, Unburied Sing;" "The Dutch House;" "Heart of Fire," Senator Mazie Hirono’s memoir of family migration.

Movie Discussion Club - 2nd Mondays*
The Movie Group meets the second Monday of the month at 3:00 pm. As a group we jointly choose movies to watch at home via Netflix, on demand, or Amazon Prime, and then get together on Zoom to share impressions of the film. Examples of films we have watched: "Red Joan," "Before Sunrise," and "Minari."

Knitting/Needlecraft Group
The Knitting/Needlecraft meets every other Thursday from 1:00-3:00 to chat, share ideas about materials, patterns, and techniques and to offer help to those stuck on a project. Our primary purpose is to get to know each other and converse and you can just join in even if you aren’t working on a craft.
