Chevy Chase At Home Operations During COVID-19

Chevy Chase At Home's leadership is actively monitoring and reporting on the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), State of Maryland and Montgomery County. During the pandemic, we have cancelled in-person gatherings and adapted our programs and services to support members, volunteers and the greater community. All of our programs, clubs, and events currently take place virtually over Zoom. Subject to new COVID-19 protocols, we have resumed limited in-person services to full members, such as rides to medical appointments, grocery runs, tech help, light repairs, and friendly visits. Participating members and volunteers must agree to these protocols before receiving/providing services. Please contact the office if you have any questions.

For the time being, we have also begun providing resources free to the community, such as our weekly "Boredom Busters" and "COVID-19 Updates" emails, as well as information about upcoming public programs of interest. Non-members may contact the office to receive our updates.

Check our Events page for ongoing programs, including our monthly virtual lectures open to the community at large.
