About this event

Robert Blaemire will share what he considers to be 15 pivotal, strategic missteps by various U.S. figures (extending from John Adams to John McCain) and how these decisions significantly altered the course of the nation based on his brand-new book, Unforced Errors (Austin Macauley Publishers LLC, Sep 2025). A popular and entertaining presenter, Blaemire has been an active participant in politics all his adult life.

Robert Blaemire founded a political action committee, The Committee for American Principles, an organization seeking to combat the growing role and influence of the New Right in political campaigns. During the three plus decades Bob worked in this area of politics, his clients included the Dukakis for President Campaign, both Clinton-Gore campaigns, Gore-Lieberman, Kerry-Edwards and dozens of Governors, Senate, Congressional, Mayoral and local campaigns and state Democratic Parties in 26 states. In 1991, Bob created Blaemire Communications, a political computer services firm serving Democratic campaigns, progressive organizations, and political consultants. He has also authored a biography of former Senator Birch Bayh, entitled Birch Bayh: Making A Difference (Indiana University Press, 2019). Blaemire worked for Bayh for 13 years and was his life-long friend.

Bob's new book, Unforced Errors, will be available for purchase at this event. Bob will also be signing books.
