Start the new year right with a discussion about mindfulness with Claire Kelly of the University of Oxford Mindfulness Center and Paloma Costa, a Foggy Bottom West End Village volunteer. Claire will cover the origins of mindfulness, evidence-based research about mindfulness, and its current applications. She will debunk some common mindfulness myths and talk about what mindfulness really is. Participants will even have an opportunity to engage in mindfulness practice during this interactive program! Zoom link will be sent out the morning of the program to registrants. Hosted by Foggy Bottom West End Village.
