Open to members and volunteers, this group meets via Zoom on the third Monday of the month at 4:00 pm to inspire and support our individual efforts to get rid of "stuff". We will talk about how to get started, how to work with partners who are recalcitrant, and where to donate or sell things. We can encourage each other and congratulate one another on our progress. Sharing in the process might make this task feel more like a worthwhile accomplishment than simply an odious chore.

Contact the office at info@chevychaseathome.org or (301) 657-3115 to get the Zoom link.

CC@H is delighted to invite our members and volunteers to attend a showing of the the world premiere of “A Jumping-Off Point" on Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. Round House Theatre is providing us free tickets as part of its program to partner with nonprofit community organizations. About "A Jumping-Off Point": Leslie Wallace is a promising Black writer who has just landed her first deal with HBO. Her celebration is cut short when she gets a surprise visit from Andrew, a white man from her grad school cohort, who accuses her of plagiarizing his script. Their confrontation—and eventual uneasy alliance—forces a reckoning on representation, privilege, and who gets to tell what kinds of stories. Full of humor and complex characters, "A Jumping-Off Point" is a sharp and electric new play from rising star playwright and screenwriter Inda Craig-Galván, and is part of the National Capital New Play Festival. Round House Theatre is located at 4545 East-West Highway, Bethesda, MD 20814. Up to 20 tickets are available on a first come first served basis for CC@H members and volunteers only. RSVP required by the evening of Wednesday, April 3. RSVP by email: info@chevychaseathome.org or phone: 301-657-3115. When you RSVP, please note if you require any ADA seating accommodations.
